Prophet, Priest, and King

As Priest — God said: ”Take Aaron, thy brother, that he may minister unto Me in the Priest’s office” (Ex 28:1).
And of Jesus we read: ”In all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest” (Heb 2:17).

As King — If, when they came into the land, they should desire a king, the command was: ”One from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee; thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother” (Deu 17:15).

‘As Prophet– “A Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me.” [Deu 18:15], Acts 7:37, John 1:45
